About companyIQ

UK company intelligence for a consistent score in one report

What Is companyIQ?

companyIQ provides instant intelligence on any UK registered company using publicly available data from Companies House combined with AI analysis.

The information needed to make confident decisions about UK companies is all publicly available, but reading it is time-consuming and requires financial expertise to interpret meaningfully. Traditional credit check services are expensive, slow, and return data that needs an analyst to decode.

companyIQ automates that process. Enter a company name or number and we retrieve the data, read the filed financial documents, and return a scored intelligence report, typically within 2 to 4 minutes. Everything is evidenced from source. Nothing is estimated.

I built companyIQ to solve a problem that I've seen and experienced across my 15 year data career. Companies invest time and resource to assess and qualify companies they deal with; using Companies House, third party websites, company websites, google searches, and whatever else they can find. The problem is that too often the results vary by person, even if the steps are the same.

There is no standard, no consistency, and no single picture anyone can agree on.

I've seen that even dedicated data enrichment teams still produce varying results. This can disrupt a sales process, or add time and risk to a compliance or audit process. The manual effort involved in piecing together a reliable picture of a UK company from fragmented public sources is significant; and in a lot of cases it takes far longer than it should.

The data to make good decisions about UK companies has always been publicly available. What was missing was a tool that reads it consistently, scores it objectively, and returns a clear answer in minutes. That is what companyIQ does.
